I was told the first required three to six of the second, but now I just want to read the lightly pseudonomized tell-all memoir 'Musgravity Bomb'

I was looking through this in case there were better options but I think I'm stuck with my American ones.
Your chance to say things to @simonsaysnothin.bsky.social, hang out with us all in Berlin, and generally do research things with computer.
"it has been seven days in this place. I do not know that I shall ever escape. Every day a woman pukes in the bathroom and a small child feasts on Serbian bean soup. I try to keep my spirits up and mark the passing of time with the child's discarded noodles"
Remember: goats eat *everything*
Thesis: Like @beijingpalmer.bsky.social says that DC is an oral culture pretending to be a literate culture, an LLM is a literate culture pretending to be an oral one.
maybe if they were really good looking boxes...
Notoriously, pigeons are dumb & do fine, so it's fun that catfish can get it wrong. That said, like human arithmetic ability transportation is sensitive to problem-framing, animal intelligence also transports better when the task works with, not against an existing behavioural repertoire, so 🤷🏻.
It's the choices of Ostraciidae that I want to know about.
Somewhere Bismarck is looking down in confusion as Germany projects power by sending 4,000 pensioners, 12 buffet stations and a TUI loyalty program through the Strait of Hormuz
"Many happy returns of the lunch!"
There definitely are, but I think it would be rude to name names.
I knew striped onesies-and-spats would come back in if I waited long enough. Now if I can just distract the orderlies for a moment...
A nice retelling of the origin story for expectation in probability and its fairness motivation – like algebra itself, actually (see Part 3 of al-Khwarizmi's 'al Jabbr'.)
Maybe ignore the article title: there was no 'dispute' and unless you're Michelet, France's Renaissance was not in the 1650s.
lol, I'm going to retire never having made that much. Someone dropped me in the wrong career and if I ever find out who it was...
CBBC presenter who has shares nothing in common with MG except costume, expression, and the belief he's talking to children.
I think I might have pegged the expression though
The fines seem substantial but are mostly fiction and will be forgotten almost immediately – like the contents of that article, roundtable or panel discussion, really.
"Soon I discovered that this rock thing was true
Jerry Lee Lewis was the devil
Jesus was an architect previous to his career as a prophet
All of a sudden, I found myself in love with the world
So there was only one thing that I could do
Was ding a ding dang my dang a long ling long"
Bad Klaus? Maybe, but he's the guy you want in your film
The Bad Klaus tradition is a long and honourable one
The natural selection of bad science? No, bad Klaus.
I expect there are plenty of superadditive Kahneman & Tversky types in the sciences too, though on the theory they'll seem rarer than they are.
Helpfully, comedy duos (like big bands, sports coaches & Bell Labs) cast some doubt on the general idea of assigning genius only to individuals
The measurement error theory of 'lone genius' is that geniuses seem more likely to be lone because when people explicitly work together it's harder to assign successes to any individual's genius and easy when a individual works 'alone' – that is, when those who help them are left in the background.
I have just asked the local organizers, as I think they're not on here.
I'll suggest it to the local organizers
Aaaand the 2026 Workshop has a schedule. Three keynotes, twelve presentations, and all the DAGs you can eat... No, that sounds weird. All the DAGs that are fit to print? Mmm, still weird. Look, there'll be a lot of DAGs, ok?
blessed relief from new crypto-enthusiast Tony though

"It's a niche"
@yiqingxu.bsky.social, Jens Hainmueller and Avi Acharya have a cool paper to get political scientists to just fit structural choice models to their choice survey experiments! yiqingxu.org/papers/2026_...
