A couple of hours later when the US announced a ceasefire I was convinced that’s what happened. Am I crazy?

When I saw the report this afternoon that Pakistan was proposing a two week ceasefire, my first thought was that somebody in the us planted that seed with the Pakistanis so that Trump would have an off ramp.

I am not a stranger to profanity - I grew up in a city, I worked in a meat-packing plant in NYC, FFS 😀, I use it when I feel like I need to. But there is a time an a place and we have completely lost that boundary. 🥺

I feel like we have lost something by allowing political discourse to fall to this level. Clearly this president is embarrassment when he uses this language, but we also hear it in congress and elsewhere.

I’ve been listening to some of the MS podcasts over the last several months. They are so overwhelmingly putting a positive spin on everything the administration has done, that they completely lost me. Glad I don’t have my accounts there.

My eyes are very sensitive. I am always skeptical when friends suggest new “milder” shampoos. But somehow when a friend suggested vinegar I didn’t question it. Never again!

So why? If Israel sat across the table from Iran and said "ok, how do we fix this? what do you want?" What would the answer be?

I don't believe that there is any innate religious emnity.

I suspect that Muslims should be more suspicious of Christians than Jews. Based on recent postings, it seems that the Crusades haven't ended in some minds.

Israeli isn't dealing fairly with the Palestinians but what is that to Iran? Some of the Arab countries surrounding Israel might not like that, but Iranians aren't Arab. No real "familial" reason.

Do Iranians hate Jews? Not sure. Jews, in the past, lived somewhat comfortably in Iran.

Question being asked out of ignorance or naivete:

What does Iran get out of harassing Israel? They are spending large amounts of money supporting Hizboleh and Hamas. Why?

Israel is 1000 miles from Iran. They both have munitions that can bridge that gap, but so do others in the region.

Seriously? Is there even a count of the number of good people who have been subject to harassment and death threats due to our brain-dead president and his syncophants? We could start with Dr. Fauci and continue from there. And the judge wants to protect these idiots?

Isn't any concerned about our creation of an archipelago of concentration camps? People are going to go in and never come out, We will find mass graves on the properties. They are willing to shoot people on camera, imagine what they will do behind the gates. We will never live this down.

Do we think that they will have a problem getting rid of people in the dark? They can start by beating people in the head and telling the hospital that they walked into a wall. Then they will get more efficient. We run the risk of becoming Nazi Germany and will never get out from under that burden.

How is the building of concentration camps going to be blocked? They are building warehouses for people. We know where this leads. They will fill up and then people will just mysteriously disappear. They are willing to shoot people on camera in public.
