I have 10 years exp in game audio working on a wide range of shipped titles in many different styles.
I combine technical implementation, creative sound creation and a strong design aesthetic.

This is an odd thing for me to do, as I never post here, but I'm looking for freelance game audio work.
I don't want just any gig, I'm looking to meet devs who put player experience at the heart of their games. Hit me up!
Thanks for mentioning this Marcel, I'll ask someone to take a look at that.
Interaction sound design is the best! youtu.be/5XXsyFIR9rA
I like making sound for things that move.
A while back I had a blast making sounds for some fantastical fishes.
Here's a blog post about it www.audiokinetic.com/en/blog/behi...
Finally pre-tuned variations of the laser loop were created to enable multiple lasers sharing the same space to harmonise together.
This was a lot of fun to make. I really hope players will enjoy their experience with it.

This is used in combo with distance attenuation & filtering to adjust the sound as the player nears lasers, resulting in the hair-singeing lightsaber sounds when up close. Pitch adjustments & accentuated doppler effect add movement to the sound as the laser & player move closer.
Using a spline tool (shown in the video as the white sphere) which is best thought of as a magnet on a rail. The sound source moves freely along the rail while remaining at the point closest to the player. This enables the sound to appear as if it’s emitting from a wide area.
Another important aspect is for the player is to feel like a near miss with a laser practically sets your hair on fire - we want players to feel the proximity!
Based on reactions to the lasers in our demo, we did okay with that goal!
These are placed in the world by our level designers and are cleverly built so that they can spin, slide, rotate and cover large distances. For these reasons a very dynamic sound design was called for.
The lasers were one of the most fun and satisfying sounds to make for the world of Luna Abyss. Our game features fast paced traversal and one of our challenges for this mechanic is our dynamic lasers.
I had a lot of fun designing the audio for laser hazards in the narrative fps game Luna Abyss store.steampowered.com/app/1933000/...
Here's a thread about using FMOD, a spline tool and some creative processing.
