We got our absentee ballots. I read the instructions and noticed a couple of things I didn't remember. One is members of the military don't have to stamp their ballots. And I'd forgotten they have to be received by the time polls close. They don't make it easy.

I was born here. My husband was born in Maryland. Strangely we met in CA, married there, but ended up back here after living around the states. Lately we've been talking about moving to Hemet, CA. We lived in Torrance, CA when we were just married. But we're old and moving scares me.

We have to stamp them & have to mail them separately. I'm not sure about postmarks because we always get them in early & follow up. In presidential elections there's a website to check if your ballot was received. This state (TN) is red as hell. There's almost no Dems on the next primary ballot.

Good night kids! 8 children were shot to death in Mike Johnson's hometown this morning. What are odds Johnson will want to do something about gun deaths?
