Yes, state-controlled propaganda has always been the way forward.
Not.

I've now watched the censored 60 Minutes report on CECOT. If you watched it too—and if you have any decency at all—I'm sure you came to the same conclusion I did: winning elections won't be enough; people like Stephen Miller and Kristi Noem will need to be charged and imprisoned.

Given Trumps National Defense Strategy; he obviously wants Greenland, Canada, Mexico and the Panama Canal. I would hope that all of the Free World would start standing up to him, with a show of force if necessary!
The UN, EU, NATO, OAS and all others needs to sanction the US and Arrest Trump!

I’m old enough to remember when CBS News would never have surrendered to a demagogic president or any other politician. Remember Edward R. Murrow?

Garcia: First, let’s be very honest about what’s happening. This is a White House cover-up. They are now involved in an illegal cover-up of the Epstein files. They’re defying Congress. They’re defying their own base. They’re lying to the American people.

How has the Electoral College survived, despite being perennially unpopular? Despite its substantial-sounding name, the Electoral College isn’t a permanent body: It’s more of a process. For decades, a majority of Americans have wanted it to be changed.

The electoral college is unnecessary for a democracy. In fact we're the only democracy that has one. No more insanity of gerrymandering.

One vote per person. That's all. 👍👍👍

Just want to share with my American friends how the Australians respond to a shooting tragedy. Action, rather than thoughts and prayers.

I am grieving the loss of these two amazing people whom I have never met.
Imagine being the remaining siblings who lost their parents, whom they describe as best friends, and losing their brother - under these circumstances.
I truly hope they have loved ones holding them up. 💔

He'll start a war to:

1. Distract from the Epstein Files
2. Steal oil
3. Justify emergency powers
4. Justify use of the AEA for deportation/internment
5. Help the drug lord he just pardoned

A bunch of multi-coloured aluminum DPNs in a vase shaped like a hollow Nancy Drew mystery.

3 1950’s teen girls are gathered around a hole in the ground, burying a plaque that says “Fuck” in the latern light.

The book’s title is “The Mysterious Night Wr Buried Our Last Fuck”.

Please note - @kollagesquare.bsky.social did *not* endorse this DPN holder; this is all my shenanigans 😌

As a middle-aged white woman I buried the last of those when I turned 40 😑

Were there moments that you missed? Anything that happened that’s on the cutting room floor?
I don’t think there’s anything I missed that I wish I’d gotten. I’ll give you a little anecdote: Stephen Miller was perhaps the most concerned about the portrait session. He asked me, “Should I smile or not smile?” and I said, “How would you want to be portrayed?” We agreed that we would do a bit of both. And then when we were finished, he comes up to me to shake my hand and say goodbye. And he says to me, “You know, you have a lot of power in the discretion you use to be kind to people.” And I looked at him and I said, “You know, you do, too.”
