I grew up in an extremely abusive toxic-masq environment, I was constantly attacked for my feminity, and so there was no breathing room for me to come out, due to how unsafe I already was, and how much more unsafe at home transitioning would have made me :c
same, I always wanted to spend time with the girls and go on girls nights out in beautiful dresses or sexy skirts n crop tops; I wanted to get my hair done, get my eyebrows done and learn to do makeup, but I never did cause I was terrified of being seen as ugly, and getting abused more at home
