For some reason I really hate the sound of my AC.
Normally I don't have a lot of sensory issues.
were these people friends or parasocial relationships?

how the fuck is anyone just supposed to go about their day with the president threatening genocide?
It‘s nothing compared to what Iranians and Palestinians go through, but I am ashamed to be an American—ashamed of what Trump is threatening, ashamed that there are two parties supporting him, ashamed of our society which perpetually wages violence, ashamed of myself for failing to stop it
Too many people in the U.S. think they might be rich one day and they simply will not.
Star Trek The Next Generation scene. Looks like we're on a gazebo or something, trees but also structure in background. Cut to an out of focus William Riker! He's shavenly standing and speaking mid-ponder. Closed caption reads, "What about plain old basic sex?"
Remember the woke CIA lady with generalized anxiety disorder? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
Somehow literally anything done under Communism is attributed to the system itself and, should it be bad in any way, warrants its utter condemnation and abolition.
Whereas under Capitalism things just "happen", and even when they can be directly traced to its mechanisms the same people just shrug.
Communism is when every citizen dying is the government's fault, capitalism is when it's their own fault, obvi
@suchnerve “I don’t want to wear a mask all the time” Alright. Would you please wear it sometimes? Sometimes > never. Like just keep one in your bag, and put it on when you’re in an extra crowded place maybe?
A classic anti-masker tactic is to claim that if you don't wear a mask 100% of the time, it isn't worth it. Untrue. Every single time you wear a mask, you reduce the chances for viruses to spread. Wearing a mask always improves public health, even if you only do it occasionally.
that game has eaten up years of my life, lol
love the Skyrim reference!
This is Nathan Cavanaugh, another DOGE staffer explaining how he flagged grants at NEH for "DEI" which would be reviewed for termination. 404 Media has reviewed hours of this footage and we'll have more soon.

I remember the Bush years. They were awful.
Anderson Cooper: “So it's more expensive to have a chronically homeless person living on the streets than it is to actually subsidize an apartment for them?”
Answer: “Yes, we’re paying more as taxpayers to walk past that person on the street and do nothing.” #HousingFirst #UrbanTruth
