Excellent to see the Scottish Government increasing investment in Scottish Canals to ensure their canals remain a valuable resource for biodiversity, active living and tourism.
There's a lesson here for England and Wales.

Last week's #FundBritainsWaterways campaign cruise by the Wilderness Boat Owners' Association failed to reach Brandon Lock on the Little Ouse, owing to silt & fallen trees.
The town of Brandon is now virtually cut off from the national and local system of navigable waterways.
