Just today i interacted with a single post of Digital Circus and it immediately transformed my for you page to almost only show that. I never interacted with that topic on this account before. Complete transformation of what my for you page previously was.
On Twitter i often found cool things that i use even today still. Interesting discussions and topics. The algo there is not perfect but it does actually catch my interest regularly from things that it thinks might interest me. I unfortunately have no such occurence of that here.
Or its content that i absolutely dont care at all about and never interacted with and isnt even close to related to things i liked. There is either almost no diversity or way too much diversity to the point where the timeline doesnt interest me at all. No in-between.
You know, a reason why i'm rarely here and still use mostly Twitter and Reddit is because of Blueskys Algo. Bsky has the For You Page that someone made and the default Discovery page. The big issue: You either have no diversity and only see stuff from things you recently liked (for you page)

Cleaning isn't *hard* per se. It just needs a bit of "motivation" at times...
