13th Anniversary

Today marks the 13th anniversary of the original doujin release of The House in Fata Morgana!

Update since it’s been a couple hours: I’m not as hungry anymore!

What helped it? …writing down my thoughts that turns into a long thread that lasted for an hour 😅

Who knew that distracting my mind would cure hunger! XD (honestly tho atp I’ll just wait for breakfast 🍳)

-to protect my art (besides I haven’t post much exclusive art as I should’ve so it’s a blessing in disguise)

…I’ve just look at this thread and wow. Ik it would’ve been long, but not this long! …truly a yapper like my Oshis 🤣😅

Anyhow that’s my thoughts for tonight so take care & GN/GM! 😴✨

-they’ll be in GIFs form, while here you’ll get the original. Besides I could take advantage of the new GIF system. Make something creative that a still image couldn’t :)

However, this’ll also mean that the 🦋 exclusive art I’ve been posting will be no more, but it’s a small price to pay in order-

That’s why until Twitter gets their sh*t together, I think I’ll start using 🦋 as my main platform

TBF I’ve already been posting art here before, but now it’ll be more frequent than usual

It’s not to say I’ll completely abandon Twitter. I’ll still post art there (ik old habits die hard). However, -

Heck the reason why I stayed on Twitter as long as I have is because of two reasons:
1. Most of the people I follow have Twitter as their main platform (esp. ones from Niji)
2. I’m so used to Twitter that it’s hard to transition to any other social media

Now idk if it’s still worth staying there.

-need are stricter laws for it. That away artists can share their art to the world & they don’t have to worry about AI anymore.

All that being said, while technically I can still post my art on Twitter as long as I convert them to GIFs, I don’t fully feel comfortable posting my art there anymore.

However, I recognize that AI can be useful as a tool, but only if it’s just used to help others. If it’s used for stealing other people’s hard work & take their jobs, that’s where I have a problem with it.

I also recognized that AI won’t leave no matter how much people wanted it, so what we really-

-and it’s because of things that out of our control!

Artists shouldn’t have to worry about whether or not their art will be stolen by GenAI or if their main platform will be taken over by AI & drive them out of it!

It’s times like this where I wish to be back in an era where GenAI never exist.

-by converting them to GIFs (videos might be safe too, but I’ll wait & see if it’s true)

However, considering how most social medias have (in some capacity) AI in their system, I’m starting to feel at my wits end, angry that we’re basically driven out of almost every platform online-

Honestly I hate it. It’s bad enough that they implemented their AI that lets people generated “art” from other people’s hard work. What’s worse is that it now lets people edit images by using GenAI!

Ofc artists there found a way around it-
