What a win by the Wolves. They looked dead in the water early on, and just reminded us why they've been to two straight conference finals. Tough tough team.

This game was an opportunity for the Knicks to put a chokehold on the series. To show that they were a championship level team that could take care of business. Instead, they couldn't counter what Quinn Snyder threw at them. Pressure is on Brown to counterpunch for Game 3 in Atlanta.
Huge shot after huge shot (except for those last two free throws). Getting into it with the crowd. Hunting the Brunson matchup. Just a professional bucket. This series gets a lot more interesting heading back to Atlanta.
Weeks ago I had a feeling that whoever the Hawks played in the postseason, there would be one game where CJ McCollum would win them a game. This was that game.
Josh Hart has accepted the challenge on Jalen Johnson and in this first half at least, it feels like he's gotten in Johnson's head a little bit. He seems like he's second guessing himself a bit and lacking the assertiveness that needs to make an impact. Josh Hart is the consumate playoff riser.
There are great young defenders that will presumably have strong cases in the future (Thompson twins, Chet, Camara, etc) so there will be cases to be made. I just wonder if his awe-inspiring excellence will be immune to voter fatigue the way it has happened to so many other players across awards.
A lot of people have made the assumption that he will win the award every year for the next decade. But in this age where awards voting has a lot of voter fatigue, could that happen to him?
Wemby winning the unanimous DPOY is of course no surprise. Like many things with him, I am wondering into the future and how his unprecedented nature will be viewed.
Feels like a miserable life to lead when you're mad at people being (checks notes) happy that a team they invested in does well? I will never understand it.
Like fandom is an emotional rollercoaster. The emotions have peaks and valleys along with a teams success. If a fan wants to celebrate a first round game win, why do you care so much? Why are so insistent on policing happiness?
Here's something that's been bothering me in sports discourse. It happens a lot in the NBA, but I think it happens in a lot of other sports as well. The whole "act like you've been there before" thing.
Orlando sure has that trademark "nobody believes in us" team sort of vibe after that performance. Down the stretch, there were no answers for Franz Wagner who able to get what he wanted seemingly at will. This series will be so much fun.
Those issues presented themselves against Orlando tonight. Rough playoff debut for Jenkins and a bad Duren game. A lot to figure out for Game 2.
A huge concern for me about the Pistons was that who is that secondary option. Cade did superstar things, got the basket at will, was getting to the line. But when you need the secondary creator, who is that going to be?
Those "House of Thunder" playoff shirts go insanely hard. Might need to get one lol.
The Celtics are a really bad matchup for the Sixers. The way teams have had success against the Celtics is by making threes. The Sixers are in the bottom third of the league in three point efficiency. That makes what we're seeing here today relatively unsurprising.
I was a big proponent of them to start, especially with a lot of the new media monikers. But as time as devolved they realized that hot takes pay and that's what they've turned into. None of them seem worth listening to at this point
Shout out to everyone that checked out the Knicks Fan TV stream tonight! We had a great time breaking down the Knicks win and had some great chats and callers.
A special thanks to the whole KFTV team for giving me the opportunity to contribute to the post game, was so much fun!
Knicks really showed that they were the experienced playoff team tonight. Never really panicked and made the shots that they needed to to win this game. Excellent second half by KAT and another underappreciated Hart playoff game. One down three to go!
Reducing the NBA regular season has been floated before to add a little more juice to the league before the playoffs. The answer could be 58 games with a round robin schedule, the elimination of back to backs, and an intentional separation of the IST. Made the case for 58 games in my latest below
When people tell you about Playoff Jalen Brunson. That first quarter is the reason why. 19 points. 8/11 from the field. The Captain is locked in.
Top off looming. The Garden crowd changing "Let's Go Knicks". Chills. The journey begin. Orange and blue everything.
This Sleeper commerical is hilarious. Reenacting an NBA Jam style rendition of Kawhi's shot against Philly only to add a tree with coins at the end so the sort of Aspiration humor that I can't get enough of lol
I've been so disconnected from the NFL this off-season. The way I was actually shocked when I realized that the NFL Draft is on Thursday lol
All my Knicks on here, I'll be on the post game for Knicks Fan TV after Game 1 wraps against the Hawks on YouTube. Make sure to tap in and fire off those takes!
Feels like the Wolves missed an opportunity in this first half. Jokic with four turnovers, Gordon having to sit with three early fouls. And yet the game is still tied at the half.
The troubling thing for the Raptors after Game 1 is that they shot 53% from the field and 50% from three and still seemed to struggle to keep it close against Cleveland. They're going to need perfect games to win in this series it seems like.
