Sir Ian McKellen performing a monologue from Shakespeare’s Sir Thomas More on the Stephen Colbert show. Never have I heard this monologue performed with such a keen sense of prescience. Nor have I ever been in this exact historical moment.TY Sir Ian, for reaching us once again.

Every accusation by those calling for return to masculinity is a confession they are not.
Finally.
This is a fruit of Christian Nationalism & policy lust.
Lila's CN vote, driven by her policy lust to "end" abortion made her hold the hand of a felon, rapist, and self-confessed molester. Her choice now makes her complicit, also, in Tate's evil.
CN and policy lust ... not even once.
Eugenics James more concerned about fixing Daylight Savings Time than stopping the deaths from starvation, AIDS mitigation and more via the unlawful pocket veto of Rubio’s policy of sending USAID where critically important.
“The denunciation of injustice implies the rejection of the use of Christianity to legitimize the established order.”
― Gustavo Gutiérrez
Few people in American politics have ever exhibited less moral clarity than Nikki Haley has since 2016.
After the UN vote, the better question is, rhetorically asked, Who’s his Daddy?
Whoever dreamed, “Who’s your Daddy?” would be the only question asked to serve in any of the three branches of the U.S. government?
Just for kicks, I built a simple web scraper to pull the data on doge.gov/savings so I could tally the numbers provided. DOGE currently claims they've saved about $55B. But if you add the rows up, it's more like $7B.
Unless they're hiding data re: $48B, this is sloppy work on their part.
The heartbreak.
Trump claims USAID is bankrupting America—it’s less than 1% of the budget. Meanwhile, the world’s richest man, Elon Musk, is gutting the largest food aid provider. He could end world hunger & still be the richest man alive. But he won’t.
Not just greed. We’re watching evil at work.
One way to look at it, settled for bargain basement leadership, two toddlers for the price of one.
Imagine someone saying, “The Jews should not have started the Holocaust.” See how that sounds?
Sadly, and angrily, unsurprising…
I was today years old when I learned that Lack of Empathy Disorder was a thing. Suggestion: screen all congress people for the disorder.
Elon musk is the richest man in the world, he could be funding hospitals, medical research and universities. He could be solving the climate crisis. He could be feeding, hungry children. Instead, he’s trying to make sure that your grandmother doesn’t get an extra dollar of Social Security.
Who imagined that The Shadow President could have more grievances than 47? Well now you know. Every move seems tied to correcting every grievance associated with, Being told no, Not being first in line, and any perceived resistance.
Who knew so many Christians were into eugenics, closeted advocates for the survival of the fittest?
Now we know.

Get ready for Festivus every day. We could remake Groundhog Day. Where is Bill Murray?
After Trump proposed a TikTok ban in 2020, billionaire TikTok investor Jeff Yass gave millions to anti-Biden campaigns. Trump later announced his support for a deal in which U.S. firms would buy stakes in ByteDance, with Yass’ partner among the proposed members of a new board.

Juxtaposition of a news article from 2020 about Trump banning til tok and a recent Truth social post from him saying save TikTok
Not only did Trump start this whole TikTok ban thing when he was president, but it was his Supreme Court who saw it through. Now he’s pretending to be its savior and his followers are buying it hook, line, and sinker. Genuinely, how are Americans so forgetful?
The Supremes exposed as useful idiots. Get played by 47.
When a hurricane struck North Carolina, Republicans lied about FEMA.
When a terrorist attacked New Orleans, Republicans lied about immigration.
When wildfires hit Los Angeles, Republicans lied about fire dept. funding and DEI.
Exploiting tragedy is part of the GOP playbook. Helping victims is not.
