A large pixel-art piece depicting a ghostly environment of lost souls in the Sea of the Damned. The left side has a waterfall littered with various ship's masts and shipwrecks, flags flowing in the wind. On the right, a broken stone fortress and a large derelict lighthouse. In the middle, across the water, is an opening into the real world, with a bright blue sky and sun shimmering across the sea, some islands in the distance. All in various shades of blue to green.

Digital Pixel Art Piece, showing a Sea of Thieves inspired scene in a bright selection of shades of blue and white.
A sloop soars in from the left, crashing against the waves, as a pirate up front points ahead at the incoming cannonball firing towards them from the Skeleton Fortress ahead on the horizon, across the bumpy waves. A giant skull-shaped cloud looms above the fort, among the other fluffy clouds, with the text in the sky reading "Happy 7 years!".

A collage of four main icons of Pixel Art Pieces I have made of Shovel Knight main characters, accompanied by their in-game portraits beside them for comparison.
These include, a knight in blue armour with orange horns, wielding a shovel. A plague-doctor like character with a green mask, blue cloak, holding a potion of purple liquid and purple smoke. A death-like figure with a red swirling cloak, golden armour, and a giant red scythe over their shoulder. And lastly, a knight in shining gold armour, flowing white beautiful cape, and a crown as part of their helmet atop their head, sparkling.

BIG same. i almost don't even want to bother, it's hard enough to keep up. :( i don't like rushing, it's how burnout happens.

A discolored, potentially undead woman stares with alarm or incredulity at the viewer. She's wearing a white/brown/gold cravat, old-fashioned jacket, and a wide-brimmed hat. A pale gold glow lights her from underneath.

New avatar thing. Another speedpainty thing. I coulda done better but I started to hate it, so I knew it was time to stop. As one does.

A bust of a skeletal wizard who seems to be smiling. Purple is the dominant color of his robe and wizard hat, with little animal skulls on his shoulders.

March has been a really bad month for me, health-wise, but I'm starting to be on the up-and up. Breaking back into character art with a 40-minute speed paint. This guy's an old character: a silly skeleton wizard named Oddfellow.

a bottle of glass laying on top of a white plate, orned with some pink and purple flowers
blue shades all over it and underneath the bottle
inside the bottle, a deep orange liquid, with some purple and pink seeds, bluish hues as well
at the background some abstract green, resembling foliage and some blue

More painting practice
This was very confusing.. But I'm quite happy with the result
Drawing glass is fun

And yes, I know some of my players are reading this.

Changes won't go into effect until the end of the current campaign chapter. No disruptions mid-chapter, promise.

For the record, the system uses a "talent" system that allows players to customize their character's capabilities. We spent a long time balancing them- but last session, discovered that one such talent was a little too over-balanced!

Gotta go through all the talents again and double-check.

Launching your updated VTT system for your private group with full confidence-- and having one of them discover a glaring problem almost four months of weekly sessions later is probably the best feeling. Took that long to run into it? Nice.

Time for the first major errata lol

World of warcraft fanart sketch of an undead elf with glowing eyes and voluminous blond curly hair, part of which is in a braid that's tucked behind a long, pointed ear. Their expression is somewhat solemn.

Overlaying the image is text that reads "SPACELING.ART," indicating the artist's name, along with links to their Patreon and Ko-fi pages. There is also a note stating "NOT FOR RESALE, NFTs, OR AI," emphasizing the artist's rights regarding the artwork.

this is literally what my character (who has trauma from interactions with the botani) is theorizing.

i mean it woulda been easy for blizz to say it was the botani, just light-inflicted, they already showed botani stuff in TWW (even mentioned a spore escaping). it's a bit disappointing.

as charisma isn't just appearance- it's also force of personality, performance, intimidation, persuasion, the ability to remain stoic, may interact with rumors and status depending on the dm, and general social interactions- i'd say med, but cheth has feats for specific interactions to improve them

An eldritch entity of bones and blood-red light breaks free of a prison of crimson roots after thousands of years. She looks up at a golden sky for the first time in many ages as her brothers (and jailors) watch on.

A previously glorious cathedral or castle lays in ruins now, potentially millennia later. The entire landscape is colorless, showing a misty, destroyed landscape, and a distant, looming darkness.

Four versions of the same character have half-bodies drawn in various poses. Lit by a smoking potion bottle is Mort, a friendly pathologist, in blue robes and hood. Lit by a possible candle is also Mort, reading a book. He looks concerned and kind. On the other side, lit from a stark white light from above is an additional Mort, wearing a metallic plague doctor like helm. He's in fancy attire and holds a warscythe. At the top is a fourth and final Mort, lit from behind by dark magic, wearing a silly grinning bronze skull-mask, and holding a voodoo doll. He's threading the doll with a bright blue string that ties all the other Morts together.

A top-down battlemap of a room covered in crimson vines vaguely shaped like a heart. A massive bovine-adjacent skull is trapped there. A blood-red light glows from its eyesockets and the gaps between the roots.

Howdy, #PortfolioDay!

I'm Batty, primarily a digital artist (but I dabble in traditional paints). I make character art for friends and visual aids for my own VTT group (and sometimes maps).

I like lighting (a lot) and try to use colors and lights to help tell stories.

A thin, emaciated woman in a raggedy old cloak. Her clothes look beat up. A dagger and a flask are connected to her belt, and a shoulder-bag is slung over her chest. A funky little skull keeps her cloak pinned together. She's holding onto a staff made of bones and holding her hand under a floating, glowing lantern. Wisps of light- possibly souls- dance around the lantern.

Against a hazy teal background where the barest hint of massive chains can be seen, floats a tattered ghost. She has an empty hood, and her legs trail off into ragged, cloth-like wisps. Parts of the ghost are damaged and sewn together by pale blue stitches. Her lower arms are just the shapes of bones, and her hands are claws. Her left arm is shattered, and sort of stuck in place by mysterious means.

The ghost from the previous image is now floating in front of the windows of a giant spectral lantern: three blue windows with a crossbar through them. Below the ghostly figure are a lot of shadowy, reaching hands, all seem intent on grabbing at or for the ghost.

Happy Halloween! My very tattered and torn-up #ghost for your amusement-- she's a wraith, to be exact. #warcraftart

This was anti-burnout art. Something different, and for myself. Been wanting to make art of Lysa's ghostly self for a while, but man, a lot's been happening. So, here it is.
