Right?! That new president of theirs is really doing some work! I always wondered why the US didn't just invest in Mexico and help them get rid of the Cartel. We're neighbors and we benefit when we're both succeeding.

I can't decide, is it okay and even responsible to ban MAGA apparel in public places just as we would Nazi stuff? I've tossed people from bars when displaying Nazi tattoos or patches and my instinct would be the same with MAGA to avoid issues with other guests.

But it also feels like segregation.

I live in Southern IL after having fled MO after the election. I've been struggling HARD with all the MAGA family and friends I left behind. I was raised in a Catholic, Rush Limbaugh house in a tiny farm town by a narcissist dad and a vacant, beaten down mom so I feel lucky to have made it here!

@ldeserres.bsky.social weird question but both my kids had their tonsils and adnoids out at age 2. The one had scalpel surgery in 1996 and the other laser surgery in 2004. What's standard now? Asking for a new mother neighbor, at that young I didn't notice a difference in recovery with mine.
