SUPERMAN Review – James Gunn’s DC universe soars in uplifting, often silly first outing James Gunn resuscitates the DC universe with a sincere and uplifting take on the man of steel. A vibrant, all-smiles showcase of David Corenswet’s charm in the face of off-kilter humour and clashing studio priorities: franchise-building is still the aim of the game.

Tummy Monster is a twisted study of male ego and celebrity culture - SNACK: Music, film, arts and culture magazine for Scotland A twisted study of male ego and celebrity culture, Tummy Monster is the debut feature from Glasgow-based writer-director Ciaran Lyons. ...

I had a fascinating chat with Ciaran Lyons, director of TUMMY MONSTER. The film is so twisted and diabolically brilliant that I just had to hear how it came to be.

It was absolutely magical seeing #WessicaLange at the #GlasgowFilm Festival. She talked so intelligently and in depth about her career and the film industry.

I was blown away. Being in the same room as her, the conversation. It was so illuminating. A genuine treasure.

The #FantasticFour and #Thunderbolts trailers got me thinking about how Marvel set their final battles on very similar-looking city streets -- so, why?

Spot the difference!

These are two completely different movies - #KindaPregnant and #YoureCordiallyInvited - but the posters are identical. Is Hollywood creativity bankrupt? Do they not care about individual movies?

To them, these movies are just content to add to the library.

Here's a small issue with #thething in the #FantasticFourFirstSteps trailer - when he tastes the food, we don't see his face react. It just freezes. He goes from tasting to saying he loves it without any facial expression in between. Even rock people need to emote like people!

It's interesting that in The Way of Water, the we had a massive space whale jumping out of the water, and now we have giant machines crossing the water. It's all going from natural to man made stuff, which makes me think Avatar is about to get a whole lot darker.

Denis Villeneuve says he planned to do another project before ‘DUNE MESSIAH’ but the love for ‘DUNE’ from “cinephiles around the world” convinced him to return now.

#GhostCatAnzu is a wonderful film full of imagination, warmth and heart. I had such a cosy time. This story is begging for a follow-up series!

A massive cat working as a massage therapist, and a huge frog doing part-time as a golf caddie was a visual I never thought I needed, but so glad I got!

Will she be English, or bust out the American accent? Better yet, she can try a combination of both!

Today, I'm thinking about #FantasticFour and how this fight scene is, yet again, set in a city. Just like #Deadpool&Wolverine, isn't it? Almost TOO alike...

Why can't #Marvel get out of the city? It's the Fantastic Four, they're space explorers after all. Set the final fight in space!
