"The Pitt" season two finale was not only an hour of great television but reconfirms the series as one of the best written, acted and produced dramas in line with "The Sopranos," "Mad Men," "Breaking Bad" and "Six Feet Under." It's sometimes a tough watch, but so worth the effort.
Excellent finale to HBO Max's "DTF St. Louis." Kudos to the superb cast & creator Steven Conrad for 7 great episodes, so unique, twisty and bold. Above the mystery and the sexual component, a profound portrayal of male friendship unlike any I've seen. Won't be for everyone, but highly recommend.

"Crime 101" is a terrific film, superbly acted, crafted and told. Evokes some of the great crime thrillers of past decades. The cast is excellent but Halle Berry is the film's MVP. Check it out!

The excellent #documentary "Cover-Up," now on @netflix.com and shortlisted in its #oscar category, is a timely look at journalist Seymour Hersh, whose investigative pieces blew open many governmental cover-ups from the Vietnam and Watergate eras and many decades after. Doc lovers: don't miss it!
As a #screenwriter, this was news to me! But happy it exists because, as they say, there's no movie/TV show without a script. So kudos to all trying to make it in the screenwriting biz, those who've reached any level of success, and those who've persisted in this challenging & rewarding career!

Can't say enough about this superb novel. Epic and sweeping in scope but deeply personal and emotional. Beautifully written and structured, its 450 pages flew by, and I was sorry to leave all its characters by the end. "Buckeye" by Patrick Ryan is a must-read. #booksky 💙📚 #authorssupportingauthors
