Caught up with Endfield (mostly, waiting on Wuling $ to shore up my factory)

TBH the entire main story quest I was just waiting for Fangyi to admit that she was exhausted. Not only is she always working but she's also always seeking approval/emotional validation and it just seems so tiring... no wonder she almost collapsed walking towards the underground rift

They should've touched each other more I think. Perhaps when Mi Fu becomes playable...

I suppose the death of Nefarith could also be considered as Endfield moving on from "village raider the bandit" type antagonists... Ardashir is a much more interesting antagonist anyways

Having to play through Fangyi effectively writing her will was kind of crazy tbh

Well I was at least able to catch up with Endfield's main story today... I think it's definently getting better; the pacing still seems off at times, and occasionally they drill in the point a bit too much, but the presentation and themes are much stronger.

If this really is the last we see if Nefarith, that's kind of dissapointing... we hardly got aby backstory or motives from her. All she did was have a cunt-off with Zhuang and die

Just got my collab stuff... I got to pick which button I wanted! It was a tough choice between Perlica and Rossi but I like Perlica a smidge more 🦉

The Zhuang Fangyi comic "To Bloom" is up, and I hope nobody was expecting to get any new details about her character because there certainly isn't anything new here...

I wish they showed more of her past as a normal Tianshi, before being appointed as the viceroy...

Hadiya is really cool... her design is very Endfield-core to me (with the primarily white jacket, yellow-ish accents, and topography motif in the pattern), but like. Endfield-core if it was done right
She's also very fun to use... waiting on her masteries to finish right now...

I recently picked up volume one of Witch Hat Atelier, and have also been keeping up with the weekly anime, and I have to say it's quite amazingly good. I really appreciate the anime extending some scenes, it makes the pacing feel much better to me...

It honestly feels like I'm watching a movie...
