Jenner first came out as trans in 2015. "When I came out in 2015, I brought this issue forward, but I had nothing but good in my heart,” Jenner said. “I thought this is a very marginalized group of people [and] I've been dealing with this issue since I was a little kid, and maybe I can make a difference. But unfortunately, the left kind of took my issue."

She's right about one thing: her coming out as trans absolutely did not help. At all. For so, so, so many reasons. She became the go-to image of what people pictured when someone mentioned trans people, and it was a very negative one.

They filed suit to have their convictions thrown out. The DOJ would normally oppose this, as the original prosecutors.

But to do that… they’d have to assert the men committed sedition… on behalf of Donald Trump.

So instead, they just fold.
