Boat Tank time!

The dataset here is almost a year out of data, but a site that old definitely would've popped up. elevatordatabase.com/California/T...
I really want an update on this, because I can't seem to find an elevator permit for the location.
Knowing how a lot of SF Landlords operate, good chance it's not permitted and they've been trying to keep their non-compliant stuff under the radar and just claiming "It's Grandfathered"
feast your ocular orbs on this cross section of a miniature Nuvistor vacuum tube.
Should we all just start mailing you old distributors?
Can we get a channel??
1997????
One of my biggest life problems is dealing with "I like the work I do but not who I work for."
Which would be an easy fix but right now is *not* the time to be "the new guy"
These have...not great cable. I kind if figure if they get chewed or degrade I can mod with proper direct burial cable which these do *not* have
Got these light up glass mushrooms at Costco they slap ngl
Not a problem on this website, but look at those 4 recalls we just posted and imagine getting throttled by an algorithm while trying to notify the millions of people who potentially own one of those products. This is why we can't sleep at night.
Clearly the answer is the front yard you will not regret replacing the entire front yard with one machine
If you've ever run a hammer drill into concrete, you know it's miserable. This thing though? Like butter.
If anyone was wondering, the SDS rotohammer is the best tool I own.
10/10 recommend everyone rush out and buy one.
Don't mind me over here, just mileagegooning or whatever mogging V8s idk I'm too old for this talk.
63.9 MPG for a trip? I'm down for that though.
San Francisco is Sacramento during rush hour :(
If Solano County is the Bay Area, is Dixon the Bay Area?
And that's because it has the Apple IIe card inside! This card is more or less an Apple IIe SOC on a PDS card. It allows you to run Apple IIe software on an LC series machine. Largely sold to schools so they could keep using their traditional legacy software.
Had to shell out $70 for this.
The best find was an Apple Macintosh LC II. You might wonder why I'd buy such a boring machine. Well, you see, it has a funky port on the back in the expansion slot.
I got some goodies there! Here's a good find: A Powerbook 2400c/180. This one's a US Model, stock 180 CPU, some amount of upgraded ram.
Haven't tested it /quite/ yet, but at least the polarizer is good! This is the most expensive EFM item I've ever gotten at $120.
Just a quick reminder that Sony made a computer with a HOLE THROUGH IT. The Vaiussy.
This drill really needs a duct collector, but such is life.
I get to wear PPE when I'm doing so much as drilling concrete holes for tapcons, such as here.
Your employer is also required to provide said PPE for you. If a respirator is required, they need to provide fitment and consumables for it.
Some extra fun is this stuff is already illegal! If you work in a field that has something you even perceive could be a hazard, please look into it yourself and don't trust your employer. They like to lie because it's cheaper.
Silica dust exposure gets covered here www.dir.ca.gov/title8/5204.... .
Come say Hi at the Electronic's Flea Market today :)
If that ends cheap enough it's almost a regrettable purchase. Hm.
And then to round it off, the PCB is cracked in multiple spots. This isn't actually hard to fix, but with the flyback situation it's not really worth it. It's impossible to find spare flybacks for these kind of sets.
You can kind of see on the right there, the flyback's looking pretty crusty. It's even worse from the bottom.
Opening it up and we've got a tube just yeeted out of the socket and two tubes expose to atmosphere. The white is not a good sign.
Got a really cool TV! Sadly I think it's a bit too far gone to salvage :( .
Red White and Blue set from the Bicentennial Era. All tube B&W.
