Jimmy Watkins: "Please, football gods no. Don’t make Cleveland fans talk themselves into Simpson, the 23-year-old project prospect. Stop the discourse about his processing speed and anticipatory accuracy. The Browns aren’t built to support this type of prospect."
The program is technically voluntary, but with Monken and his new offensive staff installing a whole new system, anyone who chooses to skip it will fall behind in installation and have to catch up during training camp.
On the eve of the Browns’ offseason program, the team signed veteran unrestricted free agent cornerback Myles Bryant, formerly of the Texans, along with six of their tendered exclusive rights free agents.
Under an outline of the deal, as explained in an ordinance being presented to council on Tuesday, Brook Park would receive $24.8 million from a Browns’ affiliate known as StadCo to cover startup expenses incurred by the city.
If the Browns trade down from No. 6, could Andrew Berry pull off another draft-day grand slam with extra picks? Mary Kay weighs in.
As Todd Monken begins going over the new playbook for the first time on Tuesday with his three quarterbacks, he’s confident that Shedeur Sanders has enough mobility to run his scheme.
