Both bathrobes and slippers still require a step of “being undressed” which I hate to do at any point in the winter.
Alas; I just piled my warmest PJs on the sink and dressed as quick as I could dry myself.
The good thing is, it’s snowing less than last time.
The bad thing is, it didn’t start snowing til 3pm and we had already committed to going to the gym.
The worst thing is, now I have to take a shower and taking showers during winter are a 0/10 experience.

I started posting a longfic thinking it would keep me motivated, I was W R O N G -- now I have 5 chapters of something posted and I'm staring at the rest of it I have to write like.... fuck
also; writing has been so hard recently. Like, maybe for the last year or year and a half? I've just NOT had motivation to do it.

anyway, I do miss the fandom community, and the friends I made along the way. I visited NYC (where I know many of you live) and was too ashamed of having been a ghost to reach out and try to arrange a meeting.
What else did I do last year? I read like, almost forty tradpub books, not even including all the fanfic I read. I watched a lot of TikTok. I watched all of Grey's Anatomy. I started going to the gym.
And like, I get THAT, but put it all into a video game with a controller and I'm MYSTIFIED.
which I find amusing because I DID recently start an actual real life in person D&D campaign with people I met on the subreddit for the city I live in.
I tried to play baldur's gate yesterday and got really overwhelmed by the mechanics.
am I actually coming back to Fandom or just deeply troubled on this terrible day and therefore seeking any kind of possible comfort???
