Youre right that 29-32 look great , but not so much BB33 or BB34. If Salah has to be on the bench in WC29, then I'll have to spend 3FTs getting in 3 NEW+CPL players in 32, leaving me with only 2FTs heading into 33/34. I would then anyway have to take a -8 to get a semi-decent BB team in either case.
Hi Jonny, fantastic thread ! Do you think WC30/31 is the best strategy if I'm planning to take a -8 in GW29 ? Currently have 6 + 2FTs + Dango. If Semenyo is a doubt then I'll have 7 confirmed starters before hits & in that eventuality I'm looking at WC29, BB32, FH33 / 34 & TC 34 / 33. Thoughts pls ?
That does lock you out of Trent unless you are ok with double Liv defence. Also this week are you starting Hall ? And benching which 8th attacker ?

I’m going for Isak without a doubt. I’d actually got him in gw11 but then had to emergency sell him in 12 to buy Salah and Saka so I want to reverse that. Trent , although great, can wait for various reasons imo.

Sorry i misphrased. I have money for *either* of JSL to Isak OR Rico to Trent (but not both) funded by an Ederson downgrade to Verbruggen. Which transfer is a priority according to you, if any ?

No, i kept Ederson. Luke does think that Ederson should be back v NFO for his distribution, and I felt that Rico to Trent & Ederson to Verbruggen/Sanchez this coming week is a move I can make with more info & better prospects than their fix this week.

while i don't disagree with you, i was contemplating taking out ederson for a hit for raya in gw11. i didn't cos had other fires and gk switches are sub optimal. raya would've repaid the hit in that week itself. all that said, i'll roll too. yet to make up my mind on the best gk replacement.
