jonathan's like oh my god i accidentally killed my sister and i'm also being taunted by telepathic messages from my anonymous maker but also i need to know the mundane domestic drama of my neighbours

however i do simply enjoy this game. like it's blessedly clear of the billion point of interest marks on the map and i don't feel overwhelmed by stuff to do i'm just running around having a goofy fun time

also i'm so afraid of having missed something that means i've accidentally let someone die because i didn't save them from some enemies or w/e

also it's a funny game in how it sort of (at least, in my experience) discourages you from levelling up. like yeah the enemies are getting harder and i have 6000xp to use but if i level up and sleep until the next night all the enemies will come back and god who do i have to go heal now
