the only regret with transitioning i have is that i didn’t act on it sooner even though it’s what i wanted. in the last decade we finally got a point where it was socially acceptable for people to transition younger, and they’re trying to take that away and it breaks my heart

I genuinely can’t comprehend how someone could think Victory is on the lower end of Gundam series, unless they got thrown off by the weird start and just never gave it a real chance. Once it hits its stride, it’s quite good, and a lot of moments and episodes are really terrific!

A lot of the shows ideas about what it means to be a woman are pretty dumb, but I can overlook that in a show that’s 30 years old. And in spite of its weird stances on that stuff, this show actually had a bunch of really great women characters!

Victory Gundam rules, actually. It’s definitely my favorite of the full length Gundam shows, so far. Probably about equal with War In The Pocket in terms of how much I enjoyed it, although that’s a tricky comparison to make due to the different formats. I had a great time with it!

36 episodes in and Victory Gundam might be my favorite Gundam show so far??? Like, it’s definitely up there with First Gundam for me, and I’m enjoying it quite a bit more than either Zeta or ZZ
