I have heard about his dismissal of those he doesn’t feel are important. This isn’t my story to tell but if you take care of someone’s children, a greeting by both parents is normal. To never be acknowledged strikes me as rude and makes me question whether you’d care about us commoners🤷🏻‍♀️

I tried to have my high school students in a CTE biomedical science class investigate the impacts and was accused of being too political. I definitely cared!

As much as I agree that we need to do something beyond protest, I disagree that protesting doesn’t do anything. It strengthens those who feel hopeless and can lead to the more powerful actions you describe. I will feel less alone today and that allows me to continue on.

As a science teacher, it’s always been interesting to teach population growth & limiting factors for other organisms. No population can grow exponentially forever, but we expect our economy can? Societies are situated within the biosphere whose resources are limited. Economic systems are choices!
