Measurement-Based Care to Enhance Outcomes in Major Depressive Disorder This randomized clinical trial evaluates whether adults receiving measurement-based care vs standard care for major depressive disorder have faster response and remission times.

Measurement-based care (MBC) is a scalable approach to improving outcomes for people with depression. We implemented MBC across sites in Pakistan & showed that MBC reduced time to antidepressant response & remission by HALF compared with standard care.

Childhood Maternal Warmth and Adolescent Health This cohort study examines how maternal warmth at 3 years of age shapes adolescent social safety schemas at 14 years of age and physical and mental health at 17 years of age.

Elegant study linking early life maternal warmth to feelings of social safety (belonging) in adolescence, which then influences physical & mental health outcomes in late teens.

Quality of reporting on psychological interventions in psychedelic treatments: a systematic review Although studies of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy are accumulating, there is no consensus regarding best practice of the psychotherapeutic component. In this systematic review, we summarised the quality of reporting on psychological interventions in research about psychedelic treatments. The design followed PRISMA guidelines and was preregistered in PROSPERO (CRD42022319221). We searched MEDLINE, PsycINFO, and Embase for original studies on psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy and included 45 studies assessing psilocybin, 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), lysergic acid diethylamide (known as LSD), or ayahuasca, for the treatment of mental disorders.

Until researchers improve reporting of the psychological support components in psychedelic therapies, regulators will comtinue to withhold approval for clinical use. www.thelancet.com/journals/lan...
