My life is a house of cards: looks good from a distance, but it’s actually a waste of space and very easy to push over.

Hard agree on this. Lots of great visual gags to prove that point too.
Victor accidentally getting in bed with a mystery woman who isn’t meant to be there is a particular favourite of mine.
I don’t watch ‘Ex On The Beach’ and when I saw that John is presenting it, I was shocked.
Props to the folks who created an entire playlist of some of the wonderful backing tracks from the Liza Tarbuck Radio 2 show, including of course Percy Faith's 'Theme from a Summer Place'. I'll be figuratively skating in her memory tonight. See you on the ice! open.spotify.com/playlist/2KZ...

Option 2. All fried together with vegetable stock and tomato, added korma sauce — from a jar, natch — and plonked in a rice/broccoli bed. I’m no Nigella Lawson but it was a pleasant feast for all my senses.
Sad moment as I'd listened on/off for years. Remarkably, it was kinda the same show every time, and yet Liza Tarbuck on Radio 2 was always funny — we need this kind of gentle eccentricity in our lives.
And finally, for your benefit, Liza: salmon and chicken curry tonight. Take care out there.
Didn’t take one as I didn’t think I had the symptoms for it. The cold seems to have eased off over the course of this week.
Had a cold for 2 weeks now 😑 Wonder how long it has to last before I
pass the “everything’s fine” stage.
I do this too — I’m like a cat with a ball of yarn.
Went to see this show in Edinburgh last night. Perhaps just my gay male mindset but I found it pretty funny and powerful.
It’s on again tonight at 7.30pm. Would recommend if you’re looking for last minute ideas for shows in Edinburgh tonight ⬇️

I’m no expert on reassuring taxi driver patter but responding to someone telling you where they’re from with “I knew someone who was murdered there”, as one said to me yesterday, would not be my number 1 suggestion.

What a journey this guy’s been on. In just 5 years, James Marriott has gone from the “horrendous” (his word) ‘Slow Down’ to getting straight in at Number 1 with his magnificent second studio album ‘Don’t Tell The Dog’.
I’m excited for him and this is a well deserved success. More will follow.

In two conversations with The Atlantic, Donald Trump projected an air of invincibility, while seeking to distance himself from the most controversial parts of his own presidency.

Jordan and Henry from Big Brother 2023 splitting up is some of the worst news I’ve heard this year.
But their ongoing friendship reinforces the same belief I had at the start of their relationship as I do now: we can always have hope.
Here we go again!
