As an educator I have to say our systems aren’t failing, they have failed. A group of undergrads looked me dead in the eyes when I spoke of Kelly Clarkson yesterday and said, “who is that?”. They also had no knowledge of how 1 Direction was formed or that Harry Styles was a member. I’m shook.
