most games would be too afraid to have a mute girl with a frog on her head who communicates via notebook, but not Lessons in Love
Ichirin's boss theme doesn't get enough appreciation
A little disappointed they had to invent off-brand Ingmar Bergman, though. Part of what makes the manga so cool is the wealth of references to real-world culture and media.
Good first episode of Kami'ina Botan. They nailed the chemistry between Botan and Ibuki.
Also impressed by the voice acting. Suzushiro is making me see a new side of the character.
Spring 2026 anime thread. Herein lies every damn show airing. I watch all of them so you are spared the displeasure, and also because I am a masochist. My apologies in advance for this thread of misery and woe*.
*(not entirely)
I’ve been doing nothing in my free time but read Lessons in Love and I’m still not even halfway through
Flare and Polka performing Daikenkai together might be one of the best things on the internet

Well, that makes me look silly. I didn't think to check there, thanks.
I'm no stranger to precision platformers, so if you've designed a game that causes me real, physical pain to play, something has gone very wrong.
Super Meat Boy 3D is pretty fun, but the fact that you can't rebind controls or toggle run on/off is insane. This results in the player needing to hold R2 (or the equivalent) for 99% of gameplay; I had to stop playing after a few hours because it simply became too painful to continue.

Finished chapter 1 of Lessons in Love, took about 32 hours.
Pretty brilliant stuff so far. It captures the essence of Japanese eroge in a way I never expected an English work of fiction to be capable of.
I'm assured I've barely scraped the surface, so here's to the next... 3 million words.
So Bamco might finally be expanding Imas into other territories? I've always found it bizarre that Gakumas isn't available in English or Chinese. Missing out on the Chinese market especially seems like an unforced error from where I'm standing. (EN is less important for gacha)
spent ten hours reading Lessons in Love today
it's pretty good
Nice to see that Manosaba is finally being localized, especially since the English version seems to be in very good hands. It's a title that proves JVNs have life left in them yet, and has some real potential to become "the next Danganronpa" once it goes global.
New video!
In 2005, a visual novel was released that predicted that the internet would become a tool of control and disempowerment. It predicted that social media would turn us against each other.
It's also completely and utterly unhinged.
Let's talk about Saihate no Ima.
