AOC is right to call out the ADL for excusing Elon Musk’s gesture. Claiming it’s just ‘awkward’ downplays the symbolism and harm such actions can carry. In a politically charged era, we can’t afford to normalize gestures that evoke hateful ideologies, intentional or not.
