Oh yeah, those girls are like twice his size!
They are Cornish Cross, the breed most commonly found on factory farms as "broilers"... meant to be wrapped in plastic and styrofoam and sitting in grocery stores before they're 6 wks old. 💔
But these girls are 2- and 3-years old and are thriving!
Beautiful. 🥹 We can learn so much from animals! 💜
The handsome red guy here is Nelson who lived with a rooster flock but then suddenly started fighting.. like.. everybody?!?! 🥊💪🥋 We tried & tried but were unable to work him into another roo flock, so we added him to the Cornish girls and he's so happy! He loves taking care of these special girls.
