Played about 2.5 hours of Persona 2: EP last night.

It's very neat to see the talk mechanic in Persona 5 evolved from this, but it plays out differently in Persona 2.

Unless you need EXP, you can negotiate to end the fight faster, saving HP/SP. Demons still have natures to learn; can be tough.
