I think it’s a power plug that is supposed to be hooked up to a receiver that is used for this model. You might have to hook it up to a 16v AC transformer of sorts. Or change the power cable on the table.

I only got to see Lightning Bolt twice. At a ATP where they were playing in the arcade. And here in Amsterdam at the OCCII. Such a joyous noise. Seeing his art on a MTG card kind me for a loop. I got the proofs for both cards.

I recently had been relistening to my Mastodon vinyl. Leviathan was the first album i got and the first time i saw them on tour. They opened with Heart’s Alive. Afterwards they invited everybody to the local metal bar. And now im 20 years older. 😅

I’ll keep going. But i’ll see what i still have left and how i can describe them. Sometimes for me a 10/10 album is not just the music that was recorded. But how did it affect me.

Cardiacs is my favourite band. They were my light in the dark. Their sound hits me in colors, and they use the whole spectrum. It’s pop music, but it includes psychedelic, punk, grand anthems. 10/10 album? Maybe not. 10/10 band.

Loud growling guitars. A drummer pounding the drumset to splinters. It’s big and epic, and takes it’s sweet time. Released in the early 90s it got lost between the grunge, noise rock and shoegaze. But it’s a great record. One that I revisit a lot.

Do you have any preference in genre or time period? It might help me to pick some things. 😅
