ETH broke new heights and thus you shouldn't be buying it now unless you adopt the same investment philosophy as Michael Saylor is for BTC.
When you go long term, it's always DCA buy.

BEWARE.
Especially for those who are trying to transfer your assets out of Tokenize Xchange into Gemini. You want to keep an eye and go for more established CEX. Once bitten twice shy - you don't want to jump from one frying pan into mala hot pot.
This feels FTX-y despite BTCC being around for over a decade. Question is. Can't an exchange woo its audience via brick and mortar proposition. No diss to Jaren but he is not even known for crypto. BTCC may be using its own funds for this marketing. The question - is there really such a need.
Every crypto needs an USP. For ADA, their smart contract is geared for payroll. You can model it for bonuses. For example, - “If employee completes milestone X, release bonus Y”
The contract can also check ADA/USD via an oracle before fund release, thus ensuring a more stable outcome.
If you are new to crypto, this is worth looking into to understand what it would be like. As with any investment, never invest with money you cannot afford to lose. In many cases, whether it is a profit or loss depends on speed. HODL is not the strategy for most new cryptos.
The Tokenize exchange saga is a mini FTX post 2022.
Not on the same scale but it points to a poignant fact - never let your guard down. Centralized exchanges are riskier because humans (greed, fraud) are involved.
As for DEX, the main risk is the smart contract. Impenetrable until someone does.
ETHEREUM Top 10 corporate holders.
The era of new money is picking up the pace in both tech and regulation. There is little reason not to learn about crypto. I see this as an irreversible development.
Raising the bar for crypto in Singapore. It's definitely not the wild wild west in the island but how would this affect innovative efforts.
I guess only the strongest crypto firms survive. Aka those who can get funding to set up the compliance and legal processes to qualify.
Thoughts? 🤔
Which begs the question.
When exchanges declare clients' funds are separated, how can retail investors verify?
It is a case of you say, I believe until things go south.
The situation at Tokenize doesn't look too good.
Even small amounts withdrawals are taking forever. The level of anxiety for those with bigger portfolios is unimaginable. The 'bright' side is that MAS won't let them off the hook that easily and that probably is the final defence.

If found true, this would be FTX 2.0 on a smaller scale.
FTX should be a constant reminder to all crypto investors that no matter what they said or claimed to be, the internals of such exchanges is a black box until confronted.
Crypto is becoming an essential asset class of your portfolio just as stocks became so in the face of bonds decades ago.
Don't have to love it but study the reasons why and make an informed decision, not an emotional one.
USA continues to surge ahead in this crypto race but since crypto is a decentralized asset, what does being the capital mean? I understand it for the US Dollar but crypto?
Probably it means they get to make most of the regulations pertaining to crypto usage.
It's too presumptive to claim they are safe and everything good. Dyor but so far, the features and reviews stack favorably.
I am not affiliated to Gemini. No links.
With Tokenize withdrawing their operations from Singapore, I set about searching for the next safe harbor. Turns out Gemini got the licence from MAS which wasn't awarded to Tokenize.
HODL does not always make 💎, sometimes you get only Carbon. Especially in speculative crypto where recovery is not guaranteed most of the time.
Bottom line. If you are making some money from crypto, just don't flex it and risk your own life.
Crypto is a great DeFi solution but greed is the hindrance and sooner or later, it will be just another stock out there subjected to more speculative pressure than what it should be meant for.
Inevitably the world will move into crypto with BTC, ETH and stablecoins as the bedrock. This is the only way to deal with the shortcomings of traditional finance with its sluggish and expensive transactions.
Unless capital can flow efficiently, many projects will not survive. DeFi is the 🔑
XRP rises on the expectation of ETF inflows. This is becoming an old narrative as more crypto ETFs become available. Ultimately, it takes more than just the presence of spot ETFs.
In stock trading, there are strategies that lock the maximum loss. However, for crypto where flash crashes happen much more often, traders suffer big risk and loss because of the wild movements of the pricing and worst of all, it can happen anytime 24/7.
New to crypto? Invest rather than trade.
If you focus on crypto pricing, you are aiming at the wrong metrics most of the time. It also saps your life away. Understand what Bitcoin is properly and why it matters to the economy at large. Then, invest in Bitcoin via DCA and be down to earth about it. Speculation gets no one nowhere.
The one of its kind blockchain in China and it has a clear purpose - to facilitate Belt and Road transactions. With China getting more into the fray, there is gathering momentum for the crypto space.
🫣That is how volatile crypto business is. A newly minted license request by MAS is sufficient to rock things up.
