That, as they say, took a turn.

I am not sure I can express the level of rage I feel about this.
She’s beautiful!
Just looking at this place exhausts me. And what can be said about a sunken bathtub at the foot of a bed?
In a world where we conduct so much of our business on devices, it also reminds us that there are other people in the world. (This from a classic introvert.)

Has anyone ever asked him to list the wars he's ended?
I didn’t know this, did you? Amazing!
Congratulations!
Laugh all you want at Trump's flailing, but real people are getting hurt and this can still get a lot worse.
This is really appalling on the part of the NAC. There was nothing "cute" about the protests and trying to "reimagine" it this way minimizes the damage it caused to affected people and business.
Friends, Seinfeld
I'm convinced. The horse deserves cake.
I certainly hope so. I really enjoy this account.
This is a lovely clip, but make sure you have some tissue handy.
It’s about time
That's quite the framing.
I don’t often get excited about Oscar-wear, but this is gorgeous.
SUN - NIL.
SEA - NIL.

Worth a read. So many great lines.
Ha! I was just thinking the same thing as I rushed to the library website to put a copy on hold. :)
Whoa! Totally forgot about those. I remember really enjoying them.
Love seeing Canada's ranking. And I find it heartbreaking to imagine living in a country where so many people seem to actively dislike their fellow citizens.
I always assumed the former, but was recently informed by my young adult children that they often read it as the latter. 🤷♀️
The photo shows four images of the same Roman iron stylus (pen) one below the other, with knib to the left. This stylus is octagonal in shape, with an inscription dot-punched along its length on four alternate sides. The stylus is 132 mm long and 5 mm thick, and the letters are circa 2 mm high. The four images of the pen show the four lines of inscribed text (highlighted) which read: ‘ab urbe v[e]n[i] munus tibi gratum adf(e)ro acul[eat]um ut habe[a]s memor[ia]m nostra(m) rogo si fortuna dar[e]t quo possem largius ut longa via ceu sacculus est (v)acuus’ Translated as ‘I have come from the City. I bring you a welcome gift with a sharp point that you may remember me. I ask, if fortune allowed, that I might be able (to give) as generously as the way is long (and) as my purse is empty.’ This inscription is generally interpreted by scholars as a humorous, tongue-in-cheek acknowledgment by the giver of the cheapness of the gift. The pen was used to write on wax-filled wooden writing tablets. Found in London (Roman ‘Londinium’) by MOLA, during excavations for Bloomberg’s European Headquarters in 2010–2014 . Timeless humour!
A 2,000 year-old Roman souvenir pen with a joke inscription roughly equivalent to:
“I went to Rome and all I got you was this cheap pen!" 😂
Dated circa 70 AD, this iron stylus pen was recovered in London during excavations by MOLA. 📷 Juan Jose Fuldain/MOLA

Please stop telling me how these guys are geniuses when every interview with them sounds like a 12-year-old who was held back a grade.
This is fun. I got the gist of 1300, but after that, nothing.
I haven't seen either show in years, but wasn't it like All in the Family where the right-wing guy was forever getting schooled by the rest of his lefty family?
Not only did she think this horrendous thought, she didn't see any reason not to share it with millions of people.
Just about every time I read the ny times about events in Canada, I'm reminded how little they understand the context. Same with this. 🙄
