If what we are hearing is true, our president attempted mass murder earlier this week.

Listen, they are building concentration camps and threatening genocide against a country of 90 million people. There is not a single remotely legal tactic that is impermissible when it comes to stopping them.

The aim of the organised transphobic movement is to mandate trans people out of existence, they won't be happy until their targets are dead, it's a movement motivated by genocidal mania, and the cruel, vindictive, hateful bigotry extends from there.

“…Irreversible for hundreds to thousands of years”

“Irreversible”.

This is infinitely more consequential than Trump, oil prices, Hormuz etc. yet we continue to ignore it.

i'm not sure how to live in a country in which the murder of eight children doesn't ... stop everything

If we want this to change, we have to give up our normal lives, go out into the streets, and not leave until either we die or things change. Until that happens, this is just going to be how it is in the USA.

Americans must give up their dedication to their lives and comfort if we ever want to change this. As a general culture, we have collectively decided that sacrificing children this way to the altar of guns is perfectly acceptable. Just as Charlie Kirk advocated for.

The debate ended after Sandy Hook, when America decided the deaths of school children was a price worth paying.
The U.S. is done. All that's left is a slow decline.

A depraved evil billionaire Epstein Class view freedom, dignity, safety, and quality of life as privileged commodities to be bought and sold as they see fit.

A coalition of struggling modest imperfect people believe in a freedom and dignity for all and responsibility from all culture.

We must win.

"AI is good for making book covers!" The AI using Author says to the artist
"AI is good for writing dialogue in my comics!" the AI using comic artist says to the writer
"AI is good for translations!" AI users say to translators

Every goddamn 'good use' for AI just involves fucking someone else

I wish the tech industry a very deep and long lasting crash that breaks this thirst for permanent high growth from greedy investors. We should break them until they learn to have reasonable profit expectations and make investments based on safety instead of vibes and hype again.

It has always been interesting to consider why US companies do not push for universal healthcare. This makes clear that for the ruling class, control over workers takes precedent over profit. Tethering healthcare to employment forces people to stay in situations they would otherwise contest or exit.

What’s the point of school if AI can do your homework?! Do they know that school is there to teach you, not force you to do labor? You’re supposed to come away with knowledge. Not “having done papers and essays and tests and such”

• JD VANCE RESPONDS TO POPE LEO:
"When the Pope says that God is never on the side of those who wield the sword - there is more than a THOUSAND year tradition of Just war Theory."

"In the same way that it's important for the vice president of the United States to be careful when I talk about matters of public policy, I think it's very, very important for the pope to be careful when he talks about matters of theology."

"And I think that one of these issues here is that there has been - if you're going to opine on matters of theology, you've got to be careful, you've got to make sure it's anchored in the truth, and that's one of the things that I try to do, and it's certainly something I would expect from the clergy, whether they're Catholic or Protestant."

I’ve given this a great deal of thought, trying to come up with the perfect joke for this moment, and this is what I have so far -

POPE LEO: our religion teaches that this war is bad

VANCE: wow, who died and made YOU head of the Catholic Church??

POPE LEO: well, you should know, you were there

#ArtificialIntelligence really is a race 🏁 to the bottom of laziness & greed, & it's natural that it comes along after 3 decades of the untaxed unregulated unpublishers of amygdala driven hate machine algorithm ad revenue platforms destroying critical thinking & the truth.

As a therapist and a healthcare worker, chatbots are becoming a public health crisis, and I’m tired of hearing people who don’t see the harm every day explain why this is totally fine and just like people pearl-clutching over cellphones. It’s getting worse and we haven’t scratched the surface.
