ps. Lion's Bane (a fungus kind of product) has the same effect on me. You can find it in Health Food stores. There is at least one coffee blend that has it. Had to stop drinking that too.
A couple years ago (mid Covid lockdowns) I went in for chest congestion. Turned out to be untreated allergy-asthma that had gotten worse. PA gave me meds to relieve it. Possible side effect, "vivid dreams". They were vivid alright. Nightmares 3 times weekly, grouchy every morning. Med discontinued.😒
