Sometimes I see people giving very fussy writing advice. I’ve been writing professionally for almost 30 years now, here are my tips:
- Do what your boss/client says, obviously. They’re paying.
- Otherwise, write however you want. The best writers in history gave zero fucks about “the rules”.
I reviewed Ground Zero.
It made me remember the feeling of the first time I played resident evil. The frustration, tension, confusion, but still the wonder of what the hell is going to happen next.
Really cool indie classic survival horror you should play.

Thank you to @virtuacritic.bsky.social for this insightful story. It's a must read for #SEGA fans and anyone with an interest in video game history.
Bold, innovative, and at times a little weird: SEGA impacted video games profoundly since its inception. As we approach the end of its 65th year, we take a tour of this company's remarkable history.

2026 friend who doesn’t take advice hack:
Find a reel of some random person saying the advice you would say and just send it to them.
More often than not, they’ll agree with the person thinking you sent it to disagree.

I think my team is the coolest.
I previewed the New York stage of Pragmata. I think this game is going to make me cry.
Oh, my opinion of that Nvidia thing?
Dumb.
I think it's important to remember at all times what matters.
This week was incredible. Always looking forward.
I wrote about how everyone that I saw playing Mina the Hollower during GDC sucked at it, but that didn't seem to stop them from having fun.
There is some really great game design going on here, and I can't wait to play more.
