To me jumpscares are nearly impossible to achieve in comic books. Not a literal jump, but rather a surprise shock. Nice House on the Lake could do it, Locke & Key could do it. Crownsville, the new @bishop1888.bsky.social comic, can do it. The Bonetti art & color hit disturbing notes.
