I know -now- that Bad wouldn't have hurt Gullet, but at the time, I was newly sober, paranoid and highly reactive, clear from how I reacted online to people talking about Gullet.

I'm a first time carrier, I was newly sober. People have broken into my home before, Bad was I think the second to come in without invitation and picked up my sparkling, my sparkling that I'm highly protective over and have mentioned such through posts. Yeah, I overreacted, but I don't regret it. :/

They picked up my sparkling. They insulted my sparkling (from what I vaguely remember, through posts). I beat them because I was highly reactive at the time.
