Sony is starting a weird service that scans people to put them in PlayStation games Sony just announced something called The Playerbase. This is a forthcoming service that scans people's likenesses to put them in PlayStation games.

But spending 2 hours in the character creator is a treasured pastime, you're not taking that away from me!

Yeah this is what came to mind for me; I never used a proper transcription or dictation app but were non LLM based tools way better than I think they are?

I will never forgive LLM's for how my fight or flight gets activated upon seeing this word pattern. As an English major, how dare you ruin one of the most useful—oh what's the point. Why do I only post when I'm mad? What has become of us? As people? Was the internet always like this?

Case studies are hard bc when I don't know who I'm writing for, I write recursively. "The problem was, it's hard to use this data. Which is a problem because we need it. And we need it because our customers expect it. And they expect it because it's where the value is. And it's valuable bc...

Spectacular. Love it love it love it

Well that's above my head but I love that I still get the gist of it from how you've explained it. So, you're saying the tool extracts bins (binaries? I'm front end only plz don't hurt me) and as it goes, it "repels" colors thatve already been extracted, so the palette has greater # of unique hues?

Currently in mild shock after being told it's more important for your career to post about designing than to actually design. I think they might be right

How do you demonstrate your "process" in a way that doesn't make you look like a fresh grad? (Tired of 'case study guides" that just prove that you know when to use a radio button vs a checkbox)

Yeah it would prevent those "all on or all off" notification "preferences" that are such a plague these days
