I think about how Ed probably never let anyone see the silk yet, so vulnerably, he lets Stede take it. But to his surprise, Stede sees it with different eyes - kinder eyes. For all its rough edges, all its years of damage, Stede doesn't think the silk needs fixing - just a new place to belong 😭
