Two sets of painted Star Wars ShatterPoint tools. First set was done silver with a bronze trim painted a couple years ago. Second set I recently did with more colors involved.
The additional colors really do add a lot to these.
Both a lot better than unpainted!

Just finished painting a batch of five of them a couple days ago. Sooo tiny. Did mine in Jade Falcon colors to use with Aces.
Nice paint job!
#BattleTech Aces finished. Now I can start playing!
Keeping weathering in scale would be all but invisible in this size, so artistic license is warranted.
Roughly, 7mm on the model = 1.8m in real life. A mud splash would only cover about 2-3mm. But that would probably look 'weird'. I think you have it looking reasonable.
It is a game piece after all!
I enjoyed that one after doing some others that were pure frustration (Spirit Host). Just took a while to clean up all the sprue seam.
Used to use it a lot. Occasionally needed resharpening. However, there are also a lot of tiny spaces on models it can't reach, and that's when I use my other scraper tool. A small bladed knife from a Radio Shack knife set from 3 decades ago, that I reground into a scraper tool.
Thanks! I'm hoping to use them in some upcoming Aces battles instead of the token markers.
#BattleTech Emplacements - Ready to play.
Yes, I did modify them and use magnets. The original pin & sockets are all the wrong size. 12 magnets later and they stick together real well and are easy to swap parts. Didn't use magnets on the missile turret as friction fit there works fine.
Very recently picked up the Aged Metal, Imperial Gold, Amethyst Purple, Ancient Copper, Dusken Green, and Sapphire Blue sets. Have just started testing some of them and really like the results so far. Don't have anything I can show off yet.
Have a bigger project I plan to use these on extensively.
And one can magnetize the arm weapons too! Plastic is already molded to handle a pair of 5 mm x 0.75 mm magnets on each shoulder joint.
There's only one choice for weapon installation, so maybe a future add-on?
#LegionsImperialis Dire Wolves.
Assembly WIP, I've magnetized the primary weapons so I can swap as desired. Used 3/32 x 1/16" magnets in the side of carapace and same size in the bottom of the piston links. Holds real well. Next up, the arm weaponry.

Two weeks in and no others have brought minis in to display yet. We were hoping for some of the students to show off their work.
There's still time for them to join the display! Runs until Feb 28th!

Second painted min for the year. Way below my normal pace! Should be working on #8 already.
This is the Deep Cuts Earth Elemental Lord.
The lacquer finish really helps with separating the various parts.

And the show begins!
So far just me and my daughter's are in the display. Hopefully, more participants will show up with their minis.
This is from our Thursday Night Mini Painting classes at Warp 2 Comics & Games in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Warp 2 is giving our mini painting group a chance to show off some minis during the month of February!
Anyone that came down for one of the sessions over the past year is welcome to show off some of their work!

First #Gundam I've finished: RX-93 V Gundam (RG). Learned I shouldn't glue so much together. Also first time I've tried panel lining. Did OK, but not consistent. So many decals!
Been adding decals for a few hobby sessions now spanning about 2.5 hours. Figure I have about 40% done...
Each leg gets 19 decals!
I discovered the river/canyon terrain pieces do not interlock end to end. At least not without doing some adjustments to their shapes. Otherwise happy with the rest of the set.
A few typos in the campaign book too, so expecting an errata before too long.
And found some more that I glued that wasn't supposed to be...
Sure wish their instructions would call these out (and actually included English).
Progress on #Gundam. Still have backpack and all weapons to go.
Glued four parts that weren't supposed to be, so those won't move. And one missed part.
Correction, it should have 48 parts. I missed installing a yellow part inside a vent in the side blue piece.
I also later discovered (on last page of manual!!) that the front part of the blue is not supposed to be glued in place. Had I left it movable, I could also fix the missing yellow piece.
Now I did it, started my first #Gundam kit. Who would guess that this leg is 47 parts? What have I done to myself?
Finished painting the first mini from Judgement: Eternal Champions - the Effigy of Ista. Mini by Creature Caster.

(Reposted without typos).
And the second Effigy from Judgement: Eternal Champions - Krognar now painted. Mini by Creature Caster.
This one was harder to paint than Ista due to the tentacles, but still looks great.

And now a mini diorama from spare #warhammer parts. Sorry, the DOF sucks, but it was fun to build and paint.

Better late than never. Finally got around to finishing Da Red Gobbo's A-Bomb-inable Snowman (2024). Usually I get it done the same month it is released, but last year got busy.

There is no breach, and it states that very clearly in the article you linked.
And now the #BattleTech core starter box set. Done to match up with the Alpha Strike cards. I'm starting to get the hang of doing freehand stripes! And my first attempts at camoflage!
