My #nixos journey progressed again today. After installing NixOS on my desktop, I was able to remotely push new config to it with #colmena and a flake. Since my endgame is to do that for VMs, this is a big step forward.

My #nixos journey progressed tonight with the successful Flake-driven generation and import of a #proxmox vm image. One step closer.

Spent part of my evening learning #nixos and #nix. Got as far as a flake that will configure my Mac and try to configure a Linux VM, but in doing so, make it unbootable. Luckily rolling back is easy. Feels like I’m very close to something.

Shoutout to my oncall tech friends today. May our dashboards be stable and alerts silent.

I made the mistake of starting that show while on an airplane. Maybe it’s worth a second try from the safety of my basement.

Because they don’t see billionaires as bad (even if one of them isn’t one), but instead people they wish to be. Pretty simple.

Now that everyone is on their way, time to start posting. I think today’s activity will be figuring out how to claim my domain handle. Seems straightforward enough.

Not sure yet how this fits in my life post-Twitter, but game to try.
