Oh I see, I agree with that. I'd go as far as to say that without the knowledge the skills are near useless. A professional chef can still make a delicious meal with terrible kitchen amenities while someone who can't but has the most expensive ones money can buy will still make a subpar dish.

When you say specialized skills vs knowledge are you referring to theory versus mechanics.
