Honest mistake / hockey season length versus TV season length!

I just saw a clip and wanted to see if you’ve finished it! I had the same question, but the fact that Kip (and his dad!) were in what would appear to be Scott’s seats make me think that at least they were in touch enough for Scott to invite them to the game / seats. Or I could just read the books.
Nothing about us without us includes legislation about dying.
Cavedon nails it.
“If assisted dying laws are built on able-bodied people’s projections rather than disabled people’s realities, we risk giving those misperceptions the last word over life and death.“

I love you to the moon & by Chen Chen not back, let’s not come back, let’s go by the speed of queer zest & stay up there & get ourselves a little moon cottage (so pretty), then start a moon garden with lots of moon veggies (so healthy), i mean i was already moonlighting as an online moonologist most weekends, so this is the immensely logical next step, are you packing your bags yet, don’t forget your sailor moon jean jacket, let’s wear our sailor moon jean jackets while twirling in that lighter, queerer moon gravity, let’s love each other (so good) on the moon, let’s love the moon on the moon
I will always support Mercury Stardust the Trans HandyM’am! Excited for this book 😍
So I took this screenshot from the NASA live stream last night… is that legitimately the Earth in the background that looks like a crescent moon? I couldn’t tell what I was looking at but now this post makes me think it was!

Today is Trans Day Of Visibility and the US Supreme Court is kicking it off by stripping children of their identities while residing in abusive homes.
We need accomplices, not allies, friends. Everyday we see more and more rhetoric and hatred coming at us from the highest powers in this country.
This is one way that the Massachusetts State Legislature is profoundly broken. Popular bills like the healthy youth act & safe communities act are slow walked or just never voted on. Trans kids deserve better than this.
Information and history on the bill here!
actonmass.org/bills/health...
After being passed by the MA State Senate, it sat in the Ways and Means Committee until the 2 year legislative session ended in December 2025. It never got to the house floor for a vote despite being overwhelmingly popular w MA residents. The bill was first introduced in 2011. It has been 15 years!
The MA State Senate actually passed a version of the bill in 2025 to lots of positive news coverage, so you’d be forgiven for thinking it was law already, but, nope. So what happened to the Healthy Youth Act?
Trans Day of Visibility 🏳️⚧️🥰.
A good day to remember (or learn!) that Massachusetts public schools still have no standardized sexual education curriculum. The Healthy Youth Act would require schools teach sex ed that is: age appropriate, medically accurate, consent-based, and LGBTQ+ inclusive.
Been alcohol-free almost 15 years, and the rise in popularity and availability of NA beers has been so cool to see. I was never really a beer enjoyer, but I did love Guinness! Tried the NA kind last year and was thrilled. Happy St. Paddy’s indeed!
I think of A Midwife’s Tale frequently even though I read it over 10 years ago!
So, it wasn’t all that long ago that MS was stigmatized. Long COVID is a “new” disease, and there are plenty of other autoimmune conditions facing stigma. All of us with chronic illnesses deserve to be believed and deserve access to healthcare without feeling like we need to prove our pain. /end
Even as MS became a more common diagnosis, women were *still* misdiagnosed with Hysteria into the 1950s. Even though I have the lens of a longterm patient, I started to learn about the history of MS through the This Podcast Will Kill You ( Season 5 Ep 92 Multiple Sclerosis) - all the receipts!

I know that Long Covid patients face stigma that can influence their care. Since it’s also MS awareness month, I will note that up until around the 1950s, MS was seen as a women’s illness. Then, as more men were diagnosed with MS, it was taken more seriously, resources invested, etc. 2/
As a person with Multiple Sclerosis, I’m devastated to hear stories like this (must read!) thread from Long Covid patients. MS is a well-recognized condition with support networks all over the world. Culturally, many people see MS as the devastating illness that it is. They see a “real” illness. 1/
Nobody is saying they want thousands of dollars back in their pockets “where it belongs” bc many people believe the small share they do pay belongs to social safety nets, schools, libraries. A belief in that kind of world is important to cultivate and I wish any Democrat cared enough to try.
Shakespeare & Disability Zine absolutely making my day!
Ahhh former high school English teacher, current disabled Higher Ed accessibility professional. This is amazing. I know it is free, but is it okay for me to print and share with my students? Would love to drop a tip too!
This is awesome 💜 thank you so much.
Oooh I’m glad to hear it’s good! Haven’t started it yet.
Thank you for posting! Didn’t even realize I needed this timeline cleanse.
I really can’t get over that they are running with the famous line from Marie🎀 from the Aristocats while trying to sound tough.
I feel like their obsession with the western hemisphere is also somehow very connected to western civilization in their brains.
But, the day after the original article was published Lindsey Graham got in front of cameras and claimed this is a “religious war” and literally used the phrase “a thousand years” which is central to the specific Christian nationalist belief system.

Yeah that is a fair point. That, or the immediate deployment of U.S. troops / boots on the ground.
There was a classified briefing on Iran - so far I’ve only seen Warren’s video but it’s as described! She’s just kind of riffing about how bad the situation is. No plan, no exit strategy, etc.
It’s been snowing all day where I am! Like how are people going to drive anywhere this evening?!
Feels like I didn’t hear anything about this until after it had been snowing all day / time for the evening commute 🫤
