I still love the show. The only things I dislike about the 2nd season is this specific redesign and the fact that certain nagical creatures just straight up have the wrong names.

Like the Kelpie episode? Kelpies are water spirits, yes. But they are horses, not fish people.

Everytime I think about American Dragon, I get reminded how they managed to do the worst redesign in human AND dragon history.

Who approved of this?? And then they wanna tell me they changed Jake to look more like a chinese dragon when THIS is how his grampa looks?? Bullshit!

I will never forget that person at an anime convention, who went up to me with his Alpaca plushie, introducing himself and telling me of his goal to make his plushie greet all other plushies at the convention and if it was ok for it to boop Axew.
