Have not been able to do any game dev stuff for a few weeks. The reason is a good one, diving deep on learning new skills to try and make a career change. But it still can be depressing not to w9rk on the passion projects. #gamedev #capitalism #life

Bought Game Dev Unlocked from David Wehle. Found out about it via the newsletter from his newest game, We Harvest Shadows. Started going through the lessons and got my first experience working with Unity making, a short little game. Really enjoyed the exercise, looking forward to learning more.
Feeling massive imposter syndrome 😕. Still learning the basics of coding, so I shouldn't expect too much, but the moment I decide to try my own project idea instead of following a lesson, I feel totally lost. I know I need to just re-center and put in the work, but man, that's a bad feeling.

So, does anyone have any suggestions for good video series, online classes, etc for learning game dev tools? I know the game that inspired my game idea was made in Unity engine, so interested in that, but open to learning all sorts of things.
