I would play it, there is a criminally small amount of games that explore the more darker themes of weight gain.

A nearly immobile dragon stands at the door to his weight room. It looks like it hasn’t been used in years, with dust and cobwebs everywhere. He looks exhausted just standing there. There’s a poster on the wall of him back when he was far lighter and more muscular, looking confident and saying to train hard.

He looked inside his dormant weight room for the first time in years. He remembered the sweat, the exhaustion—the feelings of a solid workout.

Part three of a weight gain sequence. The YCH canine is having a hard time passing through the doorframe, his blubbery body squeezes through the frame. He has an obese body, wearing tighty-whities, huffing a little from exertion.

Part four of a weight gain sequence. The YCH canine is struggling to pass through the doorframe, his blubbery rear and body getting a bit stuck in the frame. He has an obese body, his fattened rear exposed.
