A little regulation like forcing as ad companies to exit from certain names, and ISPs can provide this data I think.

I didn't get why they "technically" cannot charge? I think it is technically possible πŸ€”

I know so many people who switched to Rust because of him too :) I think it is fine, influencers be influencers πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

I am surprised that the Microsoft stock got much less hit. At the end the real competitor is OpenAI and their main tech investor is Microsoft.
I think OpenAI's budget will be under much more pressure with "Tony Stark built this in a cave!!" kinda thinking. This will shift the demand for GPUs a bit.

But I am not managing now πŸ€“

I preferred to go with Istio for mesh and left the real metrics to metrics.rs . It was simpler to configure Istio than OTel πŸ˜‚ But ofc this predicates a k8s setup πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

No it cant πŸ₯² But it can do what it is promising really simply and efficiently

Axum

or if I am really in hurry and fits my purpose: loco.rs it uses axum underneath anyways just generates the code as well

Metrics - high-performance, protocol-agnostic instrumentation.

OTel is really overrated. Use metrics.rs . If people tell oh but my application is written in another language... Tell them to rewrite it in Rust. It will probably take less time than configuring OTel πŸ₯²

Yeap, I switched completely to metrics.rs . It is great!

I have an IONIQ5 for last 3 years. We love it as a family CSUV. Price performance/feature wise nothing is greater than Hyundai/Kia group nowadays.

Also anything above 180kw charging is more than enough in europe. The charging curve doesn't reach to its maximum even if you are charging with HPC.

Ohm I'm not sure

If you write Rust you are allowed to call you single instance application HA 🀫

What happened? I live in Norway and I check the news as well. I see the streets too, it's classic Norwegians. Eating Grandiosa and counting days for the sunny summer again πŸ₯²

Would you say pure skill or did those design books help a bit too? πŸ˜‡

C6 is a nice chip :) So nice it is overkill for so many applications, I know people still use C3 for some quite simple applications basically because they are cheaper :)

ESP32 especially the latest riscv chips have lots of builtin features. The reason I suggested RP2040 was to build on top of it with ethernet, flash chips, fram chips or authentication ciphers etc. so people learn what is there and why and how to use it πŸ˜‡

Would I start creating content on coding RustπŸ¦€ on embedded hardware like RP2040 and then hacking it and then making it better and hack again ... Would you read/watch/be interested?

Maybe we can put some machine learning there too someday πŸ˜‡πŸ™ƒ

Norwegian Anti-rust what!? I know me and many Norwegians are very pro-rust and rustaceans πŸ¦€

There are social media profiles promoting who got how much funding from which VC.

There is nothing for reverse...

I think Norwegian tech companies' biggest problem is "folk-in-tie" and not competition or engineers. Issue is the culture of decision making and incompetency of the decision makers being exploited mainly by Microsoft.

Is it weird if I am checking people on crates.io? Sometimes, I use a crate and then I'm like who wrote you?

If Postgres going to be squeezed into a just query language layer what is stopping companies to just utilize DataFusion?

Makes you appreciate std πŸ₯²

Everybody who speaks about standard library's lack completeness, goes away the moment they are left only with "core" πŸ₯²

I love it!
